WHY ROUGE EXISTS?
Rouge exists to redefine modern wellness by uniting intentional movement with real-time restoration.
We create an elevated experience that strengthens the body, accelerates recovery, and empowers individuals to feel strong, sexy, and fully in control of their health.
Founder + Owner
An Oklahoma native, Cat grew up with sports at the center of her life. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma and moving to Arizona, she struggled to find the consistency she once had through athletics. That changed when she discovered Pilates — a form of movement she genuinely looked forward to.
Her connection to Pilates deepened, leading her to pursue certification. Along the way, she discovered the benefits of infrared heat and red light therapy, experiencing improved recovery, energy and mental clarity.
It sparked a bigger idea: what if movement and wellness could exist together in one intentional, elevated experience? She hadn’t found that space, so she set out to create it.
Cat Gundy
Founding Partner + Director of Operations
Growing up in Oklahoma, Aubrey spent much of her life in competitive sports. When that chapter ended in college, she discovered spin and quickly found a new passion for movement and connection. Within months, she knew she wanted to teach.
Nearly a decade later, Aubrey has taught spin, strength, boxing and sculpt throughout the OKC fitness community. Her approach is intentional and form-focused, helping people understand the why behind movement so they can build confidence and strength.
Her years of teaching inspired a vision for something different — a space where purposeful programming, exercise science and an elevated group fitness experience come together.
Aubrey Cohlmia
Cat and Aubrey’s story began long before Rouge. They met at 15, became best friends and played volleyball together before life eventually took them in different directions. They stayed in touch over the years as Cat found her way into Pilates and wellness in Arizona and Aubrey built her career teaching group fitness in Oklahoma City.
When Cat began building Rouge, Aubrey was the person she kept coming back to. Once the studio became a reality, the two finally sat down, and it quickly became clear just how closely their visions aligned. Both believed fitness could be more intentional, more thoughtful and more impactful, and both shared ambitions for Rouge that extended far beyond one studio in Oklahoma City.
More than a decade after they first met, their paths have brought them back together with different experiences, complementary strengths and a shared vision for what Rouge could become.
Together, they’re building The Rouge Method — and this is only the beginning.
